Mission statement of this blog: broaden musical horizons.

Music is produced, recorded, and heard all around the world, everyday. How is one supposed to honestly keep up with it all? With new things being put into the world, the old stuff gets pushed aside. But here's where the fun in this blog begins.

My dad and I are avid music fans. We live and breath music and to each our own style. Although I have been influenced, my musical taste has become special and unique to myself. We decided the best way to bond and keep updated with it all was to start this blog.

What we plan to do is every month, we shall give each other a band and an album to listen to. Each of our jobs is to immerse that cd into our lives and find what we love about it. After doing so, we will do a write up here. During the process of that month, we will keep you updated on the progress.
