A little taste of one of my current favorites:
“I Think I Wanna Die” by Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin
Why I love it: this song is the perfect summer tune. Every time I listen, I imagine the summer breeze through my hair while the windows in the car are down. Driving around aimlessly and just enjoying the limitless feeling of the road and the music carrying you away. Yeah, the title is a little morbid, but the lyrics are beautiful and quirky at the same time. This man loves the flaw of the woman and never wants her to leave. Could it be sweeter? And then lines like, ‘you dreamt of sex with tigers, tried to get my head ‘round that one’….what’s that all about? But somehow it’s not too off-putting and remains free spirited.
